It also has multiple collaborative manufacturing bases in Kunming, Guangzhou, and other locations, and can establish mobile factories near project sites as needed.
The company holds an A-class manufacturing license (including installation, modification, and repair) for overhead and gantry cranes, a B-class manufacturing license (including installation, modification, and repair) for portal slewing cranes, and a GB2-class license for thermal pipeline installation. It also possesses a Class I professional contracting qualification for crane equipment installation, Class I qualification for steel structure manufacturing, top-grade qualification for steel structure manufacturing enterprises, Class I professional contracting qualification for steel structure engineering, Class B design qualification for light steel structures, Class II general contracting qualification for construction engineering, Class I professional contracting qualification for waterproofing, anti-corrosion, and thermal insulation engineering, and qualifications for import and export of goods and technology, as well as construction labor services (unclassified).
Hanjiang Heavy Industry's main products cover five major business segments: bridge construction equipment, lifting equipment, tunnel construction equipment, steel structures, and industrial products. More than 70 products across 5 categories have been included in CRCC's mandatory and preferred procurement catalog.
Bridge construction equipment. The company has independently developed various types of construction equipment for transporting, lifting, carrying, and erecting, as well as series products such as segmental erecting machines, movable formwork, and bridge deck cranes, capable of providing complete solutions for bridge girder transport and erection under various working conditions. Among these, the market share of the 1,000-ton-class series products for transporting, lifting, carrying, and erecting has exceeded 75%, with core technologies at the internationally leading level. The company developed the world's first straddle-type PC track beam transport and erection equipment, which completed the erection of 30% of the track beams for the Chongqing Light Rail; the nation's first largest-tonnage 2,700-ton segmental erecting machine, which completed the erection of the Pingtan Strait Bridge on the Beijing-Taipei High-Speed Railway; and Asia's first 480-ton segmental erecting machine, which was used on the Tuas West Extension in Singapore. The company was recognized as the champion enterprise in the bridge construction equipment segment of Hubei Province for 2023. This year, a purchase agreement has been signed with the Chengyu Middle Line Project of the 14th Bureau Group for the first set of the newly developed suspended cantilever formwork bridge-building machine.
Lifting equipment. The company has the capability to design and produce overhead and gantry cranes ranging from 5 to 1,000 tons, 16–70-ton gantry cranes for subway muck removal, container gantry cranes, and MQ series portal slewing cranes for ports, achieving full coverage across ports, freight yards, beam yards, and factory buildings. The products are widely used in subway construction projects in Xiamen, Xuzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chuning, and other cities. Notably, 43 70-ton gantry cranes were centrally procured for Guangzhou Metro Line 18 and Line 22, and the equipment quality and after-sales service received unanimous praise from the owner and user units, which not only facilitated smooth project construction and early opening to traffic but also fully demonstrated the policy advantages of internal industrial synergy within the Corporation. The MQ4040 and MQ6030 portal slewing cranes developed by the company have been put into use in Jingjiang, Jiangsu, and Qingyuan, Guangdong. This year, the lifting equipment segment is expected to enter the industry TOP 100.
Tunnel construction equipment. The company focuses primarily on tunnel auxiliary equipment, covering operational processes such as tunnel face excavation, invert construction, and secondary lining construction. From the tunnel face outward, the equipment lineup includes multifunctional operation trolleys, mobile bridges, waterproof membrane trolleys, tunnel lining trolleys, secondary lining concrete curing trolleys, and gutter cable trough trolleys. The 36-meter retractable mobile bridge, jointly developed with the Engineering Management Center of China State Railway Group, effectively solves the problem that traditional bridges cannot support simultaneous three-zone operations, and has obtained multiple invention patents. In 2023, new sales orders for tunnel equipment reached RMB 230 million, establishing the company as a leading enterprise in the tunnel equipment sector.
Steel structure fabrication and installation. The company's steel structure business covers steel truss girders, steel box girders, steel space frames, plant steel structures, and station building steel structures. It holds a Class B special design qualification for light steel structures, a top-grade steel structure manufacturing qualification from the China Steel Construction Society, and a Class I professional contracting qualification for steel structure engineering. The company has mastered various steel structure construction methods, including rotation, jacking, incremental launching, and integral lifting, with an annual production capacity of up to 150,000 tons. As one of the first batch of key enterprises supported by the Corporation in the bridge steel structure segment of new industries and new businesses (CRCC Development [2018] No. 140), the company is currently striving to become the chain-leading enterprise for steel structures within the Corporation and to enter the TOP 100 of China's steel structure enterprises this year. The Wuhan Changqing Road project it participated in achieved the nation's first extremely unbalanced 95m+105m rotating steel box girder and won the National Quality Engineering Award; the Zibo North Station canopy steel structure project, constructed using "ultra-large hydraulic synchronous lifting technology," won the National Quality Engineering Award; and the steel box girder project for the Wuhan Guanggu Avenue South Extension Line Military Games guarantee section won the National Quality Engineering Gold Award. The high-end underground equipment manufacturing plant of CRCC Heavy Industry won the "China Construction Engineering Luban Prize," and the station steel structure project for the Singapore Tuas West Extension, in which the company participated, won the "China Construction Overseas Engineering Luban Prize."
Industrial products. The company has expanded to 18 types of products across 7 categories, including segment bolts, cable trays, container cabins, intelligent distribution cabinets, support hangers, prestressed anchor bolts, bridge embedded parts, and photovoltaic brackets. Last year, segment bolts and cable trays were successfully included in CRCC's internal material products preferred procurement catalog, and the distribution cabinet became the first product from a CRCC internal unit to pass CQC certification. The company is currently planning to launch a basalt fiber product production line.
