Abatement Technologies soon emerges as the industrys technology leader - a position we maintain to this day. 1990 Abatement designs and introduces its patented HEPA-AIRE® portable power vacuums for source removal air duct cleaning. These systems quickly revolutionize the duct cleaning industry making it a more attractive and professional business opportunity. In the coming years, contractors using this equipment generate more than $3 billion in duct cleaning revenues. 1991 Abatement pioneers the development of its HEPA-AIRE® Portable Air Scrubbers. These units help protect workers and facility occupants from hazardous contaminants that become airborne during activities such as mold abatement, fire and water damage restoration, and to help protect high-risk patients in healthcare facilities from construction-related pollutants. 1994 Abatement Technologies develops and introduces its HEPA-CARE® air purification systems for the healthcare industry. These units enable healthcare facilities to quickly and effectively convert hospital rooms into CDC-compliant negative pressure or positive pressure isolation rooms at a fraction of the cost of engineered rooms. During the next 10 years more, than 1,500 North American hospitals select these products to meet CDC guidelines for Tuberculosis, Aspergillus, SARS and other airborne pathogens. 1996 Abatement Technologies extends its air purification technology to the residential market with HVAC-mounted Central Air Purification products (CAP®). Sold through a network of HVAC and IAQ dealers, CAP central air purifiers use a combination of advanced air purification technologies to remove airborne pollutants, allergens and odors from homes. 2001 The events of 9/11 create a significant demand for Abatements air cleansing products including: HEPA-AIRE negative air machines for asbestos abatement HEPA-AIRE duct cleaning systems for removing large amounts of dirt, debris and other pollutants from HVAC duct systems CAP Central Air Purifiers to keep HVAC components & air duct systems clean and help prevent recontamination of indoor air HEPA-CARE systems for hospital bioterrorism response preparedness, and for creating positive pressure "safe zones" in commercial buildings 2004 and Beyond Abatement Technologies is and will remain dedicated to quality and excellence. We will continue to listen to our customers, and to use our design, engineering and manufacturing expertise to provide innovative indoor air pollution solutions.
