Miller Magnetics Division of Bell Industries, Inc. from Bell. Founded in 1924, J.W. Miller Magnetics is a well-known supplier of custom and standard magnetic components with capabilities to meet short run or high volume production requirements. Products include a complete line of high-quality coils, chokes, inductors and transformers in both surface mount and through-hole configurations. According to Jim Somers, General Manager of the Bourns Magnetics Business, this acquisition significantly strengthens Bourns position as a leading supplier of magnetic products and solutions for the electronics industry throughout the world. Mr. Somers said that following a brief transition period, Bourns intends to move the J.W. Miller Business from Gardena, California to Bourns Riverside, California facility.
