Application Scope

The Remote Radio Unit (RRU) introduces a new distributed network coverage model. It centrally places high-capacity macro cellular base stations in available central equipment rooms, with centralized baseband processing. Optical fiber is used to remote the radio frequency modules from the base station to the remote radio units, which are placed at sites determined by network planning. This saves a large number of equipment rooms required by conventional solutions. At the same time, by using high-capacity macro base stations to support a large number of fiber remotes, conversion between capacity and coverage can be achieved.

This product is primarily suitable for power and signal connections between the BBU and RRU in RRH radio frequency remote systems. By combining optical fiber and DC power lines within a single lightweight corrugated aluminum tape, it becomes the world's most innovative solution, while reducing on-site installation costs.
