Scope of Application:
The BKW7DCG series DC frame isolating switch is suitable for making and breaking the main circuit and providing isolation in power systems with rated operating voltage of DC1500V and below, and rated operating current of 4000A and below. This product complies with the national standards GB/T14048.1 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 1: General rules" and GB/T14048.3 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 3: Switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units".
Structural Features:
- Compact design: Width of only 298mm, 40% smaller in volume compared to four-pole series-connected DC products, effectively reducing cabinet space occupancy, lowering costs and improving efficiency.
- "Two-none" ease-of-use design: Non-polar installation, top or bottom incoming line both acceptable, convenient wiring; no arc flash design, no need for redundant arc flash space.
- "Two-low" high-efficiency design: Two-pole structure with no redundant breaking points, low temperature rise, power consumption reduced by approximately 50% compared to four-pole series-connected DC products.
- "Three-high" reliability design: Features high short-time withstand current up to 150kA/0.2s, high short-circuit making capacity up to 100kA, and high breaking capacity of 16kA (t=15ms), ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
