AD Telecom integrating Adeunis RF Bluetooth module for the Barcelona police

This system con......AD Telecom spanish company devoted to the design and production of several kinds of radiofrequency equipment developed a system to allow Wireless communications for police officers when riding a motorbike. This system consists of a control console which interacts with the TETRA radio placed on the rear box of the motorbike and helmet equipment placed on the side of the helmet. The key feature of this system is the Bluetooth link between the control console and the helmet device. Both elements integrate the ARF32 Bluetooth modules from Adeunis RF. The audio from the TETRA radio and the police officer is directed to these modules which exchange the communication and interact with the system. AD Telecom chose Adeunis RF modules because of the easy integration into a board on our electronic system. The final equipment is as a result robust and compact. This system has been installed on the motorbikes of the Catalan Police (Mossos dEsquadra) and at the moment 300 motorbikes and more than 900 police are being benefit from this wireless communication system from which they obtain more security and easy handling of the communications.
