Aluminum foil tape is an adhesive tape formed by coating a heat-resistant adhesive on a thin aluminum foil strip. The tape is 50mm wide, 0.1mm thick, and comes in lengths of 20m (Type A) or 50m (Type B). In electric heat tracing systems, it is primarily used for fixing heating cables, temperature sensing packages, or for auxiliary fixation of flexible heating cables. In addition to facilitating the installation and fixation of the heating cables, its main function is to increase the heat dissipation surface, which helps with heat conduction. Considering installation losses, the length of the tape is generally 1.2 times the length of the purchased heating cable to meet installation needs.
