Summary of Tender Requirements:
Pricing: Bidders shall provide unit prices and total prices for all items.
Documents upon Delivery: The bidder shall provide factory test certificates, data sheets and general arrangement drawings for all valves, and valid API certificates for all valves upon delivery.
Technical Bid: The bidder shall provide general arrangement drawings for all valves in their technical offer.
Marking: Manufacturer's name, material specification, wall thickness, heat number, and applicable standard shall be clearly stamped (deep engraved) on all pipes and fittings according to international standards.
Material: All materials must be brand new; reconditioned materials are not acceptable.
Valve Standards:
Ball Valves: All ball valves shall conform to API 6D.
Gate Valves: All gate valves shall conform to API 600.
Check Valves: Check valves shall conform to API 694.
Fire Safety: All ball valves shall meet the fire safety requirements of API 607 and API 6FA.
Pipe & Fittings: All pipes and fittings shall be seamless.
Flange Standard: All valve flanges shall conform to ANSI B16.5.
Valve Components: All valve components (body, ball, stem, gate) shall be one-piece; welding is prohibited.
Valve Dimensions: The face-to-face and end-to-end dimensions of all valves shall conform to ANSI/ASME B16.10.
Ball Valve Configuration: Ball valves shall be equipped with a vent or drain connection.
Lifting: Valves weighing 50 kg and above shall be equipped with two lifting points and be self-supporting.
Flow Direction Marking: Flow direction shall be clearly marked on the valve body. Tagging is not acceptable.
Technical Documentation: Technical data sheets and drawings showing all internal and external components clearly (location, material description, quantity, etc.) shall be provided for all valves.
Design Temperature: Unless otherwise specified, the design temperature shall be (-29 to 90) °C.
Ball Valve Pressure Relief: Overpressure in the ball valve body cavity shall be prevented through a self-relieving seat ring/assembly.
Ball Valve Seats: Seat rings shall be replaceable.
Ball Valve Seats - Spring: Ball valve seat rings shall be spring-loaded to ensure sealing at low differential pressure.
Stem Strength: The stem shall be capable of withstanding the maximum operating torque required to operate the valve at the maximum differential pressure for the respective pressure class.
Valve Lubrication: All trunnion-mounted valves shall have provisions for sealant injection for seat and stem seals.
Body Material: Valve body material shall be ASTM A216 WCB or A105.
Test Certificates - Material: Valve factory test certificates shall include the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the materials used for manufacturing according to applicable standards.
Test Certificates - Hydrostatic/Pneumatic: Valve test certificates for hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, including the duration and pressure records for each test, shall be submitted upon delivery.
Test Certificates - NDT: NDT test reports for valves shall be submitted upon delivery.
Test Certificates - Operational: Valve operational test reports shall be submitted upon delivery.
Inspectorate Rights: The Company reserves the right to witness all tests and material inspections at the manufacturer's workshop to ensure compliance with material specification requirements and international standards. The Contractor shall arrange and bear all costs for the Company team's visit.
Valve Nameplates: Valve specifications and information shall be die-stamped or deep engraved on a stainless steel nameplate, secured to the valve with stainless steel pan head screws. Each nameplate shall display at minimum: Size, ANSI Class, Pressure Rating, Body & Trim Materials, Part Number, Serial Number, Reference Standard.
Packaging & Preservation - Valves: Valve surfaces shall be coated with anti-corrosive varnish, and blinds shall be installed to protect gasket surfaces and internals. Protective covers may be wooden, wood-fiber, plastic, or metal, and shall be securely fastened to the valve. Valves shall then be packed in a waterproof wooden case, ensuring flange faces are separated by wood or fiberboard planks. Each case weight shall not exceed one ton. A packing list shall be enclosed in a waterproof envelope attached to the outside of the case.
Shipment Condition - Ball Valves: All ball valves shall be shipped in the fully open position.
Packaging & Preservation - Pipes/Fittings: All pipes and fittings shall be coated with anti-corrosive varnish.
Packaging & Preservation - Pipes/Fittings: All pipes shall be fitted with blinds to protect internal surfaces.
Packaging & Preservation - Fittings: All fittings shall be packed in waterproof wooden cases, ensuring bevel ends are separated by wood or fiberboard planks. Each case weight shall not exceed one ton.
Packaging & Preservation - Steel Pipes: Steel pipes shall be bundled using battens above and below the load, with dunnage placed between each layer of pipes, and secured with through bolts.
Tolerance Standards: Tolerances for pipe dimensions, wall thickness, weight, and ovality shall conform to API 5L / ASTM standards.
Wall Thickness Requirement: The wall thickness indicated in the quantity sheets is the minimum allowable wall thickness for pipes, fittings, and flanges.
Contractor Responsibility: The Contractor is responsible for any damage to all items.
Certificate Standards - Pipes: Factory certificates and mechanical acceptance test certificates shall include chemical composition, ladle and product analysis, carbon equivalent, heat treatment, tensile test, hardness test, Charpy V-notch impact test, elongation, hydrostatic test, etc. Pipe certificates must conform to DIN 50049-EN 10204.
Document Language: All submitted documents shall be in English and stamped/signed by the manufacturer.
Pipe Length: Pipe lengths shall conform to international standards.
Pipe End Type: All pipes, fittings, and flanges shall be beveled ends, conforming to ASME B16.25.
Warranty Period: The warranty period shall be 180 days from the date of issuance of the correct Technical Acceptance Report.
Delivery Period: The delivery period shall be 5 months from the day after receipt of the HPC Purchase Order.
