The Port Authority of Castellón has recently launched a business trip to Egypt, aiming to attract more maritime cargo traffic and consolidate its position as a logistics hub in the Mediterranean region.
This initiative is a continuation of the Port of Castellón's market diversification strategy, which began two years ago, focusing on the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa regions. This visit to Egypt will also complement the Port Authority's business trips to Algeria and Morocco, conducted for the second consecutive year.
Port management has scheduled a series of intensive meetings, planning to meet with logistics operators, shipping companies, and import-export businesses in Egypt. The goal is to strengthen institutional connections, establish strategic partnerships to promote the Port of Castellón, and explore cooperation opportunities in key local industries.
Through this initiative, the Port Authority reaffirms its commitment to internationalization, dedicated to attracting new cargo and stabilizing regular shipping routes, thereby enhancing the overall competitiveness of the port and related businesses.
