Wedoany.com Report on Mar 3rd, Silver47 Exploration (TSX-V:AGA) announced that it will initiate a key drilling program in 2026 targeting the eastern extension area of the Tonopah property within the Hughes Project in Nevada, USA. The program aims to further explore discoveries such as Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald to assess high-grade silver-gold mineralization potential.
This drilling program is expected to total 7,000 meters and will utilize a combination of reverse circulation pre-collars and diamond core tail drilling. Starting from the Ruby discovery, a series of angled holes will be drilled, targeting the main mineralized structures based on extensive hydrothermal alteration and multiple mineralized veins observed in previous drilling.
Company CEO Galen McNamara stated: "Since the initial drilling of the Ruby target in 2020, our technical team has consistently viewed this as one of the most promising opportunities for high-grade silver-gold discovery in Nevada." He added: "Existing drilling results from the eastern extension area have already shown significant mineralization at Ruby, which will directly guide our new program to continue searching for the main structures east of the property."
At the Ruby target area, at least four angled holes are planned to assess the scale of mineralization, structural controls, continuity, the presence of parallel vein sets, and near-surface potential. At the Sapphire target, drilling will investigate structural controls of epithermal-related mineralization and test the dip extent of vein-hosted silver-gold mineralization. Simultaneously, at the Emerald target, drilling will explore the potential for epithermal-related gold-silver mineralization deeper within the breccia system and intercept the modeled structures.
Silver47 Exploration is focused on discovering and developing silver-rich deposits in North America. This drilling program is the next critical step following the winter program at the Mogollon Project, aiming to enhance exploration results at the Tonopah property.
