On March 6, Mr. Byambyn Atar, Director of the Mongolia Railway Authority, led a delegation to visit China Railway Signal & Communication (CRSC) and held a discussion and exchange with Mr. Dong Baoliang, Deputy Party Secretary and President of CRSC. The two sides discussed topics such as railway infrastructure modernization, the application of intelligent technologies, and the construction of cross-border logistics channels. They formally signed a cooperation memorandum, marking a new stage of collaboration between the two countries in the field of rail transportation.
Dong Baoliang welcomed the visit of Byambyn Atar and his delegation. He introduced that CRSC is a globally leading provider of rail transportation control system solutions. It possesses a complete industrial chain integrating engineering design, equipment development, engineering services, and system operation and maintenance – the "Four-in-One" model – and is committed to promoting technological advancement and safe operation in the global rail transportation industry. Currently, based on its core technological advantages in intelligent control, CRSC is broadening its "Intelligent Control + N" industrial path, focusing on two main tracks: rail transportation and low-altitude economy, and developing four intelligent businesses: intelligent rail transit, intelligent low-altitude, smart cities, and intelligent operations, while accelerating the development of the intelligent terminal equipment industry.
Dong Baoliang stated that the modernization process of Mongolia's railway infrastructure is continuously accelerating, which provides broad space for deepening cooperation between the two sides. He pointed out that railway connectivity is a key support for improving regional cross-border logistics efficiency. He expressed hope that the delegation's visit and the signing of the cooperation memorandum would serve as an opportunity to accelerate the implementation of practical cooperation across multiple levels and fields. CRSC will fully leverage its technological advantages and, in line with the development needs of Mongolia's railway sector, provide customized solutions. This aims to contribute CRSC's strength to promoting the high-quality development of Mongolia's railway industry and help build smoother cross-border logistics channels.
Byambyn Atar expressed gratitude for the warm reception from CRSC and provided a detailed introduction to the development and plans of Mongolia's railway sector, fully affirming the progress achieved in recent cooperation between the two sides. He stated that Mongolia is in a critical period of railway modernization, and enhancing railway transport capacity is of great significance for promoting the country's cross-border logistics development and regional economic cooperation. Byambyn Atar said, "It is a great honor to cooperate with a company like CRSC, which possesses globally leading rail transportation control technology. The Mongolia Railway Authority will maintain close communication with CRSC, strengthen exchanges in areas such as digital intelligence, and jointly advance various cooperative projects to achieve positive results."
During the meeting, relevant responsible persons from both sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation in areas such as intelligent low-altitude, integrated dispatching, smart ports, railway upgrade and renovation, and cross-border logistics connectivity. The signing of this cooperation memorandum will provide technical support for the modernization of Mongolia's railway network. At the same time, it will help enhance the transport efficiency of cross-border logistics channels between China and Mongolia and promote regional trade facilitation. With the advancement of follow-up cooperation, the coordinated development of the two countries in the field of railway infrastructure is expected to inject new momentum into the construction of cross-border logistics networks in Northeast Asia.
