Han Jun stated that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's agricultural technology and equipment conditions have significantly improved, and the modernization of agriculture has reached a new level. The contribution rate of agricultural scientific and technological progress has exceeded 64%, the coverage rate of improved crop varieties has surpassed 96%, the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation, planting, and harvesting has reached 76.7%, and major grain crops have achieved full-process mechanization.

The intelligent and digital transformation of agriculture is also accelerating, with various smart equipment showcasing its prowess in agricultural production. Last year, over 300,000 drones were used in agriculture, the highest number in the world, serving a cultivated land area of 460 million mu (approximately 30.67 million hectares). Currently, intelligent picking robots, smart irrigation robots, AI laser weeding robots, and others have also begun to be used in agriculture.
