Wedoany.com Report on Mar 10th, Valeura Energy announced the successful completion of its infill drilling campaign in the Manora field, located in the Gulf of Thailand within the G1/48 license area, where the company holds a 70% operating interest.

Dr. Sean Guest, President and CEO, stated: "Our Manora drilling campaign demonstrates the ongoing potential to enhance production from fields in the Gulf of Thailand. By developing known reservoirs and evaluating future locations, we have added new production and created a platform for future development."

Valeura drilled two infill development targets and one appraisal well from the Manora A platform, with all wells achieving success and being put into production. Oil production from the Manora field increased significantly, from an average of 1,950 barrels per day prior to the new wells coming online, to a recent average of 2,626 barrels per day.

The appraisal well MNA-41 encountered multiple oil-bearing zones in the 300 and 400/500 series reservoirs and has been brought online as a commingled producer, with results exceeding management expectations. The sidetrack well MNA-35ST1 and the horizontal development well MNA-42H were also completed successfully, encountering significant oil columns in the reservoirs and are now in production.

The Manora drilling campaign was completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Valeura has mobilized the drilling rig to the Nong Yao field in the G11/48 license area, where a production-focused drilling program is planned. The company anticipates that the newly discovered reservoir intervals will be considered in the next reserves assessment, potentially increasing the asset's potential and economic life.
