Wedoany.com Report-Dec 04, The global capacity for acetic acid is anticipated to experience significant growth within the next four years, potentially increasing from 20.51 million tons per annum (mtpa) in 2023 to 29.09mtpa by 2028. Presently, ten planned and announced acetic acid projects are set to commence operations globally by 2028, with the majority located in Asia, and the remainder in the Middle East and Africa.
