Wedoany.com Report, On March 10, the east line tunnel of the Taizhou Yijiang Liang'an Project, the city's first major river-crossing shield tunnel project, broke through the 1000-meter mark in excavation. This marks the first kilometer milestone achieved since the launch of the project's shield machine named "Hehe Hao," signifying a crucial advancement in the tunnel's construction. The Taizhou Yijiang Liang'an Project is located in Jiaojiang District. The total length of the project route is 4,220 meters, with the river-crossing shield tunnel section divided into east and west lines. The east line tunnel is 1,806 meters long, and the west line tunnel is 1,822 meters. Excavation is carried out using a super-large slurry balance shield machine with a diameter of 15.01 meters.

The east line tunnel traverses a full-section silt stratum. Affected by the combined challenges of high water pressure and soft soil geology, issues such as tunnel water leakage and segment uplift are significant tests that must be confronted during construction. As a key project in Taizhou, the construction of this tunnel is under close attention. To address geological challenges, the project team equipped the shield machine with an intelligent construction system, incorporating technologies such as an advanced geological prediction system and a BIM smart management platform. Through technologies like intelligent sensing, intelligent excavation, and intelligent detection, the system enables dynamic monitoring and real-time analysis of shield tunneling data, real-time adjustment of the tunneling attitude, and second-level risk response.
To mitigate prominent risks like tunnel water leakage and segment uplift, the project team strictly implements the "three-ring re-tightening" requirement for segment bolts to ensure tight connections between tunnel segments. They also dynamically adjust the mix ratio of synchronous grout based on different stratum conditions to further enhance the tunnel's waterproof performance. While solidifying the foundation of safety and quality, the project team established a dedicated intelligent construction management platform equipped with functions like real-time data monitoring and visual data presentation. This higher level of project management informatization injects momentum into accelerating the progress of this tunnel project.
The Jiefang Road River-Crossing Tunnel Project is a vital component of the "Yijiang Liang'an" construction and development initiative. Upon completion, it will become a key transportation link connecting the north and south banks of Jiaojiang, holding significant importance for improving Taizhou's comprehensive transportation system and optimizing the city's spatial layout.
