Future Materials and PulPac have signed a licensing agreement to advance the commercialization of dry-molded fiber products. This molded fiber snus can is designed to meet the stringent functional and commercial requirements of the smokeless tobacco industry, including dimensional accuracy, fit, and durability.

The molded fiber snus can is engineered to withstand repeated opening and closing, effectively protect the product, and meet surface finish and tolerance standards. The project is currently in the structured validation phase, with subsequent performance testing and trials planned on Yoik's filling line to optimize robustness and scalability readiness.

The partners are planning industrialization and scaling strategies, including production process and mold improvements, to ensure a smooth transition from proof-of-concept to scalable manufacturing.
