On the 17th, Qiao Xubin held separate meetings with relevant leaders from Malaysia's TNB Generation Sdn Bhd and the key gas turbine project team. Qiao Xubin stated that as a leading global enterprise in the energy, power, and infrastructure construction sectors, China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) possesses advantages in planning leadership, integrated full-industry-chain capabilities, and integrated investment, construction, and operation, particularly with rich experience and significant technological strengths in the gas turbine field. He expressed the willingness to continuously strengthen communication and coordination with all parties, enhance information sharing, jointly promote the swift implementation of key gas turbine cooperation projects, and work together to build benchmark demonstration projects for China-Malaysia cooperation, contributing CEEC's strength to assist Malaysia's energy and power transition and promote power interconnection within the ASEAN region. The counterparts unanimously agreed that CEEC possesses strong capabilities and obvious advantages in the global energy and power engineering contracting and construction field, making it a trustworthy partner. They expressed their desire to deepen communication and exchange mechanisms with CEEC, integrate advantageous resources, accelerate the practical implementation of gas turbine projects, and achieve mutual development.
During this period, Qiao Xubin held separate meetings with Dato' Feroz, Chairman of AMG; Dato' Li Qing'an, Chairman of KAB Group; and Zhong Xianjue, Chairman of CGN Edra Power Holdings Sdn. Bhd. The parties engaged in in-depth discussions on further strengthening communication and coordination, innovating cooperation models, focusing on key areas such as gas turbines, photovoltaics, and hydropower, and actively exploring more investment and construction cooperation opportunities.
While in Malaysia, Qiao Xubin also organized and presided over a Malaysia country market development report meeting. He listened to reports on the situation in Malaysia, the performance of leading and coordinating functions, market incremental expansion, and project construction.
