en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 21st, Tocvan Ventures Corp. announced the completion of a high-resolution drone aeromagnetic survey at its Gran Pilar gold-silver project in Sonora, Mexico. The survey, covering the entire project area, was conducted by Zonge International, Inc. and involved 70 east-west lines totaling 235.66 kilometers in length, with a line spacing of 100 meters.
The magnetic data revealed subsurface features consistent with known mineralized zones and showed the extent of these features into unexplored areas within the project boundaries. This is the first comprehensive study for the project, and the data is currently being analyzed for structural and additional target interpretation.
The drone magnetic survey provides key advantages for exploration, including high-resolution data coverage across the entire project, aiding in the efficient identification of potential mineralization features. This data can be integrated with existing surface geochemical data, geological mapping, and drilling information to support targeted exploration and reduce overall risk.
The company plans further analysis of the data, including correlation with geological and geochemical datasets, and to conduct magnetic inversion modeling to estimate the depth, shape, and susceptibility of magnetic sources. This will optimize the ongoing 20,000-meter drilling program and the targets authorized for pilot mine development.
