en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 25th, REZEL recently announced that it has signed a catalyst supply agreement to provide approximately 1,000 tons of REZEL-FXB PDH catalyst and heating additives for a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) project in China. According to the contract arrangements, all materials are expected to be delivered to the project site by March 2026, replacing the initial catalyst previously supplied by Clariant.Image related to REZEL PDH catalyst

This contract represents REZEL's second significant order in the field of CATOFIN PDH units. Previously, the company supplied catalyst for a project by Hebei Haihang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Since the complete replacement in May 2024, this batch of catalyst has been operating stably, with the unit's operational efficiency reaching 105% to 107% of its designed capacity. This performance demonstrates the suitability of REZEL catalysts in PDH units.

The securing of this new contract further reflects REZEL's ongoing expansion in the PDH catalyst market. With the progress of the delivery plan, the project is expected to receive reliable catalyst support, ensuring the efficient operation of the related petrochemical units. REZEL stated that it will continue to monitor market demands and provide catalyst solutions for the industry.

The signing of this contract also reflects the actual demand for catalyst upgrades and replacements in China's PDH units. As a crucial technological pathway for propylene production, PDH units have high requirements for catalyst stability and efficiency. REZEL has laid the groundwork for its further expansion in the Asian market through the operational experience accumulated from previous projects.
