en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 26th, Recently, China's Ansteel Bayuquan Ironmaking Department's No.2 Blast Furnace achieved "acceleration". After successfully completing its annual overhaul project 70 hours ahead of schedule, it precisely grasped the critical blow-in period and rapidly achieved production and efficiency targets.

Since the commencement of this annual overhaul, the Ironmaking Department has closely focused on the core objectives of "fortifying the safety line, strictly controlling the process, and ensuring high-quality completion." It meticulously planned and coordinated all aspects, starting from the blast furnace shutdown and burden descent, with scientific planning and detailed arrangements throughout the entire process. It is reported that this annual overhaul marked the first implementation of a shutdown plan without water quenching in the hearth, significantly shortening the maintenance period, accelerating the blast furnace recovery process, and contributing to the furnace's longevity. During critical processes such as shutdown and burden descent, and cooling stave replacement, various maintenance tasks were efficiently advanced, completing all repair work three days ahead of schedule.

Blow-in and achieving production are the "ultimate test" for evaluating the effectiveness of an annual overhaul. To achieve the goals, the No.2 Blast Furnace area established a specialized production achievement team. They precisely formulated blow-in operation plans and production achievement schedules. Technical experts gathered around the furnace, closely monitored furnace condition data, dynamically adjusted parameters based on changes in blast temperature and pressure, and made every effort to manage the initial unstable phase of the blast furnace. Smooth iron tapping, stable furnace temperature, and stable furnace conditions were achieved in just over ten hours, with various production indicators quickly returning to normal levels. The early completion and commissioning of this annual overhaul not only effectively shortened the construction period and saved production costs but also laid a solid foundation for the blast furnace's long-term stable and smooth operation and capacity release in the future.
