en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 27th, Tata Communications India has announced the launch of a "Self-Healing Intelligent Network," designed to automatically reroute traffic between data centers through a software-defined platform, enhancing connection reliability.

The platform, named IZO DC Dynamic Connect, employs deterministic multi-path routing technology to predict latency and performance, supporting enterprises in achieving uninterrupted connectivity within distributed infrastructure. Tata Communications states that this service offers approximately 99.99% availability, ensuring stable enterprise operations.
Genius Wong, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Core and Next-Generation Connectivity Services at Tata Communications, said: "By combining global coverage, deterministic routing, and intelligent automation, we enable enterprises to build a scalable, non-disruptive digital foundation." He emphasized that the self-healing intelligent network can automatically handle traffic rerouting within seconds without human intervention, leveraging AI technology to provide predictive insights, helping businesses plan for capacity requirements.
With frequent global network outage incidents, such as last year's failures at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloudflare, and recent cases of internet shutdowns in Iran, the resilience of enterprise digital infrastructure has become a key focus. Tata Communications positions the Self-Healing Intelligent Network as a solution, aiming to provide assurance for enterprises connecting across different facilities and ensuring continuous data flow in cloud environments and globally.
The connectivity solutions provider believes that deploying a self-healing network can reduce the need for idle backup capacity and potentially save up to 30% in operational costs. Wong added: "Data centers are the core engines of today's digital economy, and the connections between them must be as resilient as the networks that connect them. With IZO DC Dynamic Connect, we are transforming resilience from a reactive process into an autonomous capability."
