en.Wedoany.com Report, On March 25th, the kick-off meeting for the national key R&D program project "Intergovernmental International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation," specifically the key project "Intelligent Year-Round Building Heat and Humidity Regulation Method Coupled with Sky Radiant Energy Utilization," was successfully held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.
This project is led by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, collaborating internationally with the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and the National Institute of Chemistry in Slovenia. The Chinese project leader, Professor Wang Ruzhu from the SJTU Institute of Refrigeration, the Slovenian project leader, Assistant Professor Primož Poredoš from the University of Ljubljana, as well as Assistant Professors Xu Jiaxing and Hu Zhifeng from the Institute of Refrigeration, along with graduate students from the project team, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Assistant Professor Xu Jiaxing from the SJTU Institute of Refrigeration reported on the project's research content and objectives, tasks and schedule, and project progress. Assistant Professor Primož Poredoš from the University of Ljubljana introduced the Slovenian team's research foundation and recent progress. Subsequently, project team members from both China and Slovenia engaged in in-depth exchanges and thorough discussions regarding the research plan, organizational implementation, and next steps for collaboration. They also discussed and planned for further promoting deeper cooperation between the two teams in areas such as scientific research collaboration and joint talent cultivation.
Project Overview
This project is part of the first batch of 2025 projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology's key R&D program "Intergovernmental International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation" — specifically a joint R&D project between the Chinese and Slovenian governments. The project focuses on the fundamental theory and key technologies of synergistic heat and humidity regulation driven by sky radiant energy. It aims to research and develop high-performance adsorption-based heat/humidity storage materials, efficient radiative cooling devices, and multifunctional heat and humidity regulation systems. The goal is to promote deep cooperation and common development between China and Slovenia in the field of green, low-carbon buildings, serving intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation and the implementation of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
