Nordex Receives Order From Alterric for Greek Wind Farm

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 17,Alterric has placed an order with Nordex for the supply and installation of nine N175/6.X turbines for a project in Greece. The contract includes a 25-year service agreement for the turbines. The 56 MW Chalkidiki wind farm is Nordex's first project in Greece to use N175/6.X turbines.
The wind farm is being built in the northern Greek prefecture of Central Macedonia, near Polygyros. Installation of the turbines, each with a capacity of 6.8 MW, is scheduled to begin at the end of 2025, with full commissioning planned for mid-2026. Nordex will install the turbines on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 112 metres.
