en.Wedoany.com Reported - Accenture Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Accenture, has invested in General Robotics, an AI-native company specializing in providing universal robotic intelligence that enables organizations to deploy and adapt AI-based robots, driving autonomous AI operations.
General Robotics is the developer of the GRID platform—a unified intelligence system capable of connecting robots from different manufacturers and applying deployable AI. GRID features modular AI capabilities, cloud-based orchestration, simulation-based training, while ensuring data and IP sovereignty.
As part of the investment, Accenture brings to General Robotics its domain expertise in physical AI as well as in sectors including manufacturing, logistics, utilities, energy, and aerospace.

Accenture noted that this investment further solidifies its position as an enterprise orchestrator within the Nvidia physical AI ecosystem. Nvidia Isaac Sim, a robotics simulation framework built on Nvidia Omniverse libraries, has been integrated into General Robotics' GRID platform. Accenture is also leveraging Nvidia Omniverse libraries, the Mega Nvidia Omniverse Blueprint, and the Nvidia Metropolis platform to deploy vision AI agents for its physical AI orchestrator, designed for software-defined factories and warehouses.
