en.Wedoany.com Reported - Acronis has launched the Acronis Cyber Frame platform, designed to help MSPs, cloud service providers, managed service providers, and telecom companies build hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) businesses, with integrated cyber protection and management capabilities. The platform enables partners to quickly establish and scale their own infrastructure businesses, addressing the growing demand for regional and sovereign cloud services, as well as the cost pressures exerted by hyperscale cloud providers.

Acronis CEO Jan-Jaap Jager stated during the introduction that the platform accelerates infrastructure service deployment, offers more controllable pricing and higher profit margins, and supports the delivery of regional and sovereign cloud services. Acronis noted that service providers are currently facing rising demand for regional and sovereign cloud services, while hyperscale cloud vendors drive up costs, thus requiring tools to regain control over infrastructure strategy and profitability. Acronis Cyber Frame is designed precisely for this purpose. The platform combines virtual machines, networking components, and storage solutions with built-in cyber protection, management, and automation features, providing backup, disaster recovery, security protection, threat detection, and remote monitoring and management for every workload without the need for additional tools, thereby reducing operational complexity and avoiding tool fragmentation.
Partners can choose the fully managed Acronis Cyber Frame Cloud model, enabling rapid market entry without upfront infrastructure investment; or the self-operated Acronis Cyber Frame Local model, granting full control over infrastructure, economics, performance, and data storage location. Multi-tenancy and tenant isolation, self-service capabilities, white-label deployment, and Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud integration are all natively supported. Acronis stated that the accompanying operational tools help partners deliver differentiated services, optimize operational processes, and provide customers with a more consistent and efficient experience.
Acronis Cyber Frame was jointly developed by Acronis and Virtuozzo, utilizing customized OpenStack and KVM technologies to reduce reliance on proprietary hypervisors and provide a scalable infrastructure foundation. Acronis indicated that the platform can help service providers replace traditional virtualization solutions, deliver regional and sovereign cloud services, and optimize long-term economics. The managed version is currently available through 30 data centers globally. German users are currently served by data centers in Billund, Denmark, and Oslo, Norway; more data centers in the region are in preparation and expected to go live within 2026.
