en.Wedoany.com Reported - Huaxin Building Materials Tanzania Cement Factory has been selected among the first batch of 15 outstanding overseas smart factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Its case was released at the 2026 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum as a "result of international cooperation in intelligent manufacturing" and a "typical case of overseas smart factories."

The 2026 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum recently opened in Xiamen, Fujian Province. During the forum, the "Intelligent Manufacturing International Cooperation Initiative" and the "2026 BRICS Industrial Cooperation Case Collection" were released. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Fujian Provincial People's Government, the forum was themed "Building an Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem Together to Accelerate the New Industrial Revolution Process." Li Lecheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Zhao Long, Governor of Fujian Province, and representatives from relevant departments of Belarus, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and other countries attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

Huaxin Tanzania Mwani Company is a core strategic project of Huaxin Cement in the African market. Centered on comprehensive digital transformation, the factory has built an integrated digital foundation for "management-production-logistics," achieving cross-border and cross-regional full-chain digital and intelligent connectivity. The factory has deployed Huaxin's self-developed intelligent advanced control system (HIAC) to realize "autonomous driving" of cement kilns. The Overseas Production Expert Platform (HOPE) serves as an industrial data hub, supporting multi-protocol device access and real-time collection and calculation of plant-wide operational data. To address security and material management issues at overseas factories, the factory has developed an AI vision-based bag counting system and an anti-theft monitoring system. With the domestic Kingdee Cloud ERP as the core, the factory has integrated the underlying interfaces of Tanzania's local tax system and banking system, achieving business-finance integration and local compliance. The Workeasy platform has established a cross-border multilingual collaborative office network, and the self-developed logistics procurement system enables seamless integration of orders, procurement, warehousing, and off-site logistics dispatch.

Through full-chain digital and intelligent empowerment, Huaxin Mwani Factory has achieved full-chain transparency of business-finance data and logistics information, effectively eliminating human operational loopholes and reducing financial and management risks in cross-border operations. By connecting domestic digital management tools with Tanzania's local government tax and financial underlying systems, the factory has formed an overseas digital factory paradigm of "Chinese technology core + localized ecological adaptation," providing a replicable digital transformation model for Chinese enterprises to improve the quality and efficiency of overseas acquired assets.
