en.Wedoany.com Reported - AIS Business, in partnership with Microsoft Thailand, has launched the "AI Ready for SMEs" program to provide AI solutions and skills training for Thai small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), aiming to drive the adoption of this technology among local businesses.

The program introduces the "SME AI Ready" package, which integrates Microsoft 365 and Copilot, supported by the AIS service desk. It also includes pre-built AI agent templates that can be customized for specific business functions, with the first application being the Business Assistant AI, providing business owners with precise insights and recommendations. AIS and Microsoft plan to hold a series of educational roadshows in Bangkok and key economic provinces, aiming to train over 700 SME entrepreneurs by the end of this year. Microsoft will also bring its Elevate training courses to the AIS online platform for on-demand learning by businesses.
Phupa Akavipat, President of AIS Enterprise Business, stated that SMEs account for 99.6% of all businesses in Thailand, and the partnership aims to help enterprises adopt AI safely, efficiently, and practically to enhance long-term competitiveness. Dhanawat Suthumpun, Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand and Emerging Markets, noted that digital transformation was previously constrained by skills, talent, and budget limitations, but in the AI era, these barriers are diminishing, making it easier for SMEs to adopt technology, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions. The services and packages of the "AI Ready for SMEs" program will be available from mid-June to September 2026.
