en.Wedoany.com Reported - Seven. One Studios International (the international production and distribution arm of ProSiebenSat.1) has recently signed multiple YouTube distribution deals, covering over 500 hours of content.
These agreements come at a time when AI localization technology is advancing, driving increased demand for German-language content on global digital platforms. Spanish tech company DubMe IO has acquired several German TV movies and scripted series, including Think Big and Rocky and the Cop. DubMe IO will produce multilingual versions of these programs through its dedicated AI pipeline and distribute them on YouTube in 30 languages. UK-based Content Rocket has secured global YouTube licensing rights (excluding certain regions) for a batch of German and English TV movies. French distributor Zylo has obtained French-language rights for some TV movies, to be distributed in French-speaking Europe and Africa; Canal+ Distribution has also acquired YouTube rights for several programs.
Seven. One Studios International's factual content library continues to strengthen its performance on digital platforms. Australia's VA Media, Germany's Quintus Studios, and the UK's Little Dot Studios have all secured AVOD rights for factual content packages for global distribution (with some regional exceptions). Little Dot Studios has also obtained FAST channel rights. Programs involved include Boris Becker Special, Galileo X-plorer, Curse of the Vologne, and Every Family Has a Secret.
Tobias Schulze, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Seven. One Studios International, stated that the development of digital rights, particularly YouTube rights, has become a growth business for the company, especially in the German-language content segment. He noted that traditionally, subtitling and dubbing costs hindered foreign-language content from entering the English market, but this situation is changing. As AI dubbing quality improves, language will no longer be a barrier. The above agreements were negotiated by Arnaud Trottier and Christine Jais.
