The paper review is conducted by a committee of industry experts and professionals, with evaluation criteria including originality, technical rigor, contribution, and compliance with formal standards.

The congress will award the National Mining Congress Prize (Premio Congreso Nacional de Minería), recognizing the paper with the greatest contribution and originality across all review categories. At the same time, the best research in each specialized field will also receive awards, honoring projects whose outcomes significantly contribute to mining activities and operations.
