en.Wedoany.com Reported - A webinar focusing on the clinical deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) in breast imaging will be held soon. The event aims to explore how relevant projects translate clinical evidence into operational reality, showcasing specific pathways to achieve reliable, reproducible, and large-scale application through case studies in real-world screening environments. Attendees will learn about factors influencing clinician confidence, workflow changes resulting from AI becoming a routine decision-making tool, and how successful sites quantitatively assess its impact on workload, recall rates, and detection rates. The session will focus on analyzing key implementation choices that distinguish one-time pilot studies from daily clinical use.
The keynote speaker is Dr. David Gruen. Dr. Gruen is currently a member of Advanced Radiology Consultants in Connecticut and formerly served as Chief Medical Officer at IBM Watson Health, specializing in women's imaging and body imaging. He earned his medical degree from Weill-Cornell University Medical College, completed his radiology residency at New York Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, and conducted postdoctoral research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, subsequently obtaining an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Gruen is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR) and serves on multiple national committees of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging, focusing on patient-centered care and breast imaging economics.
