en.Wedoany.com Reported - TmaxTibero (CEO Park Kyung-hee) proposes a disaster recovery strategy built on the database layer to help enterprises ensure business continuity.

TmaxTibero announced on the 15th that it will participate in the "Cyber Resilience Insight 2026" webinar to unveil next-generation disaster recovery (DR) and data recovery strategies aimed at ensuring business continuity for enterprises.
During this webinar, TmaxTibero will deliver a keynote speech on the theme "Evolution of Always-On DR Architecture Based on Active-Active," covering DR architecture design strategies that consider business continuity, as well as strategies for building an automated DR center recovery system.
The core of the presentation is the uninterrupted automated recovery system enabled by the database (DB) layer-based DR solution "ADR (Active Data Replicator)." ADR directly transmits transaction logs generated by the database and independently validates data blocks, preventing corrupted data from spreading to the DR center.
This DB layer-based replication method transmits only valid transactions committed through the normal process of the database engine to the DR center. Therefore, corrupted data caused by storage failures or memory errors is excluded from replication. This approach overcomes the limitation of replicating entire storage volumes, which may also propagate corrupted blocks, serving as a key differentiator.
ADR also offers a reverse synchronization function, allowing the DR center to be immediately converted into the primary center after failover without additional manual setup. This minimizes system downtime and operator intervention, enabling an uninterrupted operating environment.
TmaxTibero also introduced a hybrid disaster recovery strategy based on heterogeneous databases, which can optimize IT infrastructure structures primarily reliant on high-cost foreign DBMS. Enterprises can retain the existing Oracle environment at the primary center while deploying the Tibero database at the DR center to build a dual-redundancy system. Leveraging Tibero's compatibility with Oracle, enterprises can establish a DR environment without modifying application source code, thereby reducing construction time and cost burdens while ensuring a stable and reliable disaster recovery system.
Lee Won-geun, Head of the Sales Consulting Division at TmaxTibero, introduced practical application cases during the day's presentation, including the case of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), which achieved a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of "0," and the case of KT PASS's certification system, which built a remote DR environment spanning over 100 kilometers. Lee stated that under rapidly changing IT environments and diverse cyber threats, maintaining complete transaction-level consistency and achieving instant automated service switching are the true core of cyber resilience. Through this webinar, enterprises will gain clear answers for designing uninterrupted Always-On business environments and building effective automated DR recovery systems.
