The Sol-Mid™ technology is a unique manufacturing process developed by Maia. The product is typically packaged as a stick but can also be molded into custom shapes according to customer requirements. It is produced by blending ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) with grease, with DURAST® POM serving as an intermediate layer between the polyethylene and grease, playing a key role in maintaining compatibility. Due to its stick form, the new lubricant eliminates the risk of leakage associated with liquid products, making it easy to carry and more comfortable to use in maintenance applications for office equipment and industrial machinery.
