AI Power System: Rebuilding the Foundation for Computing Power Supply
With the rapid growth of AI computing power demand, electricity supply is becoming a key factor influencing the large-scale development of AI. The AI Power System released by Envision integrates wind-solar-storage solutions, Solid-State Transformers (SST), 800V DC power supply, energy storage systems, and AI intelligent scheduling to create a clean, stable, and efficient next-generation power infrastructure for AIDCs.
Based on Envision's "Tianji" weather model and "Tianshu" energy model, the system enables end-to-end scheduling across power generation, grid, storage, and computing loads through a multi-layer architecture. As the core hardware of the AI Power System, the 2.5MW solid-state transformer converts 10/13.8kV AC power to 800V DC with an efficiency of up to 98.5%, reducing copper usage by up to 80%. To address the dynamic and fluctuating power demands of AI computing centers, Envision has also launched two 800V DC energy storage solutions: the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy storage system, suitable for backup power and energy shifting scenarios with a single-unit power exceeding 2.5MW; and the sodium-ion energy storage system, designed for high-power, short-duration applications, capable of charging and discharging within minutes, offering excellent thermal stability, high power characteristics, and long cycle life.
Currently, Envision's AI Power System has been deployed in Chifeng and Ulanqab. In the Chifeng Zero-Carbon Industrial Park, the system, in collaboration with Tencent, has created the world's first "computing-power synergy" system-level model. Envision also released the new Gen 8 4.X MWh Long-Duration Energy Storage System, specifically designed for stable power supply in grids with high renewable energy penetration and for high-energy-consuming industrial loads. Equipped with self-developed battery cells and silicon carbide string inverters, the system supports 8 to 16 hours of long-duration energy storage, achieves a round-trip efficiency of 91%, and offers a 250% overload capability for grid-forming applications. Leveraging higher system efficiency, compact layout, and long-duration peak-shaving value, the system can increase the project's internal rate of return by up to 3% under equivalent conditions.
Wind-Solar-Storage Hybrid Solution: Dispatchable Clean Power Around the Clock
Envision's Wind-Solar-Storage Hybrid Solution integrates photovoltaic string inverters, providing users with dispatchable clean power around the clock through coordinated wind, solar, and storage systems. At Intersolar Europe 2026, Envision debuted its self-developed string photovoltaic inverter in Europe, combining proprietary power electronics technology with a real-time coordination platform to achieve integrated solar-storage operation within a single system architecture. The entire solution enables millisecond-level coordination from the module level to the plant level, comprehensively enhancing system performance, reliability, and project investment returns.
It is reported that Envision's solutions have completed key validations in overseas markets such as Central Asia, Africa, and North America this year, helping countries accelerate energy independence and green transformation.
