en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ubase Group and Newbility have announced a partnership to jointly advance robot operation services based on physical AI. The two companies stated on the 25th that they have signed a relevant business agreement and discussed plans to explore common business opportunities and create new value.

Newbility, a specialized company in physical AI-based robot transformation (RX), commercializes robot services such as delivery and patrol based on outdoor autonomous driving technology. Since launching South Korea's first autonomous driving robot delivery service in 2024, it has also operated the largest-scale robot service site in the country in the patrol and security sectors, with over 300 robots actually deployed in the field.
Ubase Group has expanded beyond the existing customer consultation field to extend its professional outsourcing service domain through various on-site and practical operational agency services for enterprises, particularly holding unique advantages in AI service areas such as AICC (Artificial Intelligence Contact Center).
Since 2023, the two companies have been collaborating in the areas of robot control, installation, and operation based on Newbility's autonomous driving robots and control systems, establishing a commercial robot service operation system. Leveraging this foundation, Newbility is currently operating robot services at over 140 sites in South Korea and is about to be validated in overseas markets such as Taiwan and Japan.
The two companies plan to further strengthen their cooperation based on the technological capabilities and operational experience accumulated so far, and gradually expand their business areas.
Under this agreement, Newbility's autonomous driving robots and integrated control and operation systems will autonomously perform repetitive and physical tasks, taking charge of the technical operation period of robot services. Ubase will focus on areas requiring human judgment and experience, such as operation management, customer reception, handling exceptions, and service quality management.
Through this initiative, the two companies aim to go beyond technology-centered automation to build a new RX operation model that simultaneously satisfies customer satisfaction and operational stability. Specific collaboration directions include: jointly developing robot service operation processes; building a robot control and customer support system; establishing a system for collecting, processing, and analyzing robot operation data; jointly discovering and disseminating new robot service business models; and engaging in joint marketing and business proposal activities. Ubase Group plans to expand its business domain in the future to become a specialized operation partner in the RX ecosystem.
In the delivery and patrol robot sectors, the two sides will work closely together. In the delivery robot field, Ubase will leverage its experience in operating client companies on food delivery platforms to propose a comprehensive business model combining robot delivery services when suggesting operation contact centers. In the patrol robot sector, Ubase will propose to client companies the most suitable patrol robot operation services for headquarters, business sites, logistics centers, etc.
Ubase CEO Mok Jin-won stated that this agreement goes beyond the combination of Ubase's infrastructure and Newbility's technology, and will serve as a pioneering example of how the BPO industry can evolve by integrating physical AI.
