en.Wedoany.com Reported - Samsung Electronics has introduced new education solutions for its Android-based interactive display series, aimed at simplifying the personalization and management of shared classroom displays. The products were unveiled at ISTELive 26, organized by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in Orlando, Florida. Hyoung Jae Kim, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business, stated that digital classrooms require a balance of advanced hardware, intelligent software, and intuitive user experience, and that its interactive display solutions integrate AI and seamless connectivity to support more flexible learning environments.

NFC binding links an NFC card to a teacher's account, allowing staff to log into shared displays using their assigned card.

Samsung's Account Management Solution (AMS) is pre-installed on compatible Android-based Samsung interactive displays, allowing teachers to log into personal accounts via QR codes or NFC-enabled ID cards, addressing access and privacy issues when multiple teachers share a device. With home screen personalization, AMS supports cloud-connected profiles, enabling teachers to access preferred layouts, wallpapers, bookmarks, app shortcuts, files, and settings when logging into compatible displays in different classrooms, and they can activate screen lock at any time. IT teams can centrally manage teacher registration, device enrollment, and account access permissions through the Samsung Education Portal. The portal's tagging feature supports grouping by school, building, or classroom, and can integrate with notification platforms such as InformaCast and Raptor to push emergency alerts to selected displays.

Samsung AI Assistant provides AI tools such as content discovery, transcription, summarization, and quizzes on compatible displays. Teachers can use the Circle to Search feature to circle text or images on the screen to find related information, while real-time transcription converts spoken words into on-screen text. Among the AI Summary and AI Quiz features, the latter uses recorded lesson content to generate questions, helping teachers assess student understanding in real time. Samsung AMS provides single sign-on for the AI Assistant, allowing teachers to access previous course materials without logging in again. The Samsung interactive display series is EDLA-certified, enabling seamless access to services such as Google Classroom and Google Drive.

Samsung AI Assistant has been available since April, and AMS will launch in July alongside the Samsung Education Portal update. The Android-based interactive display series offers multiple models, including the newly added WAF-S, WAFX-PS, and WAHX-M. All models, as well as the existing WAF and WAFX-P series, support the aforementioned AI Assistant and AMS. The WAF-S and WAFX-PS upgrade the Android operating system to Android 16. The WAHX-M introduces a 98-inch option for the series for the first time, available in 65, 75, 86, and 98-inch sizes, supporting on-device AI features such as voice commands, AI calculator, and text-to-speech.
