TIM opens service kiosk at transport hub, expects 15 units in São Paulo

Located in a transport hub with a daily footfall of over 6,000 people, the kiosk aims to provide convenience for users on the go. Services available include plan activation, top-up sales, duplicate bill issuance, and support for the operator's various products and after-sales services.

TIM will manage the operations of these kiosks independently. In addition to on-site service handling, the kiosks are equipped with mobile phone charging points. This initiative is part of the company's strategic efforts to expand its presence in high-traffic areas and test new customer relationship models.

The next kiosk will be installed at Corinthians-Itaquera station in the capital city of São Paulo, which sees an estimated daily footfall of up to 160,000 people. The operator expects to operate a total of 15 kiosks across São Paulo state by the end of the year.

Fábio Reis, TIM's Commercial Director for São Paulo, stated that the new model, developed exclusively by TIM, will serve as a foundation for evaluating future expansion opportunities in other regions of Brazil, noting that consumer habits are changing and customers increasingly seek convenience and speed in their interactions with brands.
