en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 26, 2026, Ye Dingda, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF), met in Beijing with Chairman Chamaiporn Jekjaroen of the Asian International Trade and Investment Chamber of Commerce (AITICC). Honorary Chairman Wu Zhiyi and Advisor Yegawu Chucharo of AITICC also attended the meeting.

Chamaiporn Jekjaroen stated that AITICC is an influential industry organization in Thailand, currently with over 1,300 member enterprises covering multiple sectors including machinery equipment manufacturing, agriculture, processing, and trade. The chamber has long been committed to promoting China-Thailand economic and trade cooperation, having established strategic partnerships with competent authorities and industry associations in more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China. It has signed nearly 200 memorandums of cooperation and hosted over a hundred "Entering Thailand" economic and trade events. He highlighted six major exhibition projects, including the Thailand International Industrial Fair, and invited CMIF to organize a delegation to attend the fair in May 2027. He proposed co-hosting the "China-Thailand Machinery Industry International Cooperation Summit" during the exhibition. Chamaiporn Jekjaroen expressed hope that the exhibition platform would facilitate the implementation of physical industrial projects, promoting mutual benefits and win-win cooperation between enterprises of the two countries in areas such as industrial chain collaboration, technology exchange, and joint market development.

Ye Dingda noted that the growth momentum for China-Thailand economic and trade cooperation in the machinery sector is strong. Trade in goods among RCEP member countries accounts for 28% of China's total machinery industry import and export volume, with bilateral trade between China and Thailand growing rapidly, offering broad prospects for industrial cooperation. The machinery industry accounts for approximately 22% of the national industrial output value, with an import and export scale exceeding $1 trillion. Currently, the industry is advancing the formulation of the "15th Five-Year Plan," which, building on the existing development paths of high-end, intelligent, green, and integrated development, has added internationalization as a key task. Deepening regular exchanges between the two sides is an important measure to support the industry's international layout. Ye Dingda proposed that cooperation between the two sides must closely align with enterprise needs, shifting from single product exports to the overall internationalization of industrial chains and enterprises. Both sides can jointly explore providing domestic enterprises with full-chain support, including investment policy alignment, factory construction, and local implementation. He also highlighted that CMIF has abundant industry resources and expert think tank reserves, expressing anticipation for continued and deepened comprehensive cooperation with the Thai side.

During the talks, the two sides exchanged views on specific cooperation matters, including the China-Thailand Machinery Industry International Cooperation Summit co-hosted during this year's China International Machine Tool Show, the World Clean Energy Equipment Conference, and the Equipment Manufacturing Industry Development Conference.

Relevant personnel from the International Cooperation Department, Robotics Branch, and Intelligent Manufacturing Branch of the China Machinery Industry Federation participated in the event.
