en.Wedoany.com Reported - Proten (CEO Park Jae-wan), a South Korean enterprise AI integration platform builder, announced on the 1st that it has been finally selected as a supplier for the "2026 AX One-Stop Voucher Support Project" managed by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). Consumer Insight, a market research and survey specialist, will participate as a demand company in this project under the theme of "Building a Conversational AI Data Service Platform and Developing AI Research Agents."

Proten selected for the 2026 AX Voucher Support Project, collaborating with Consumer Insight to advance an AI-based research platform construction project.

This project aims to transform Consumer Insight's syndicated research data utilization and research execution work, independently produced over the past 25 years, into an AI-based AX initiative. As an AX voucher supplier, Proten will build the platform and develop agents based on its proprietary generative AI search solution "ProVSearch v2.0" and AI agent integration platform "ProGenAI Studio." Proten plans to apply an RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)-based AI chatbot to Consumer Insight's syndicated research data using "ProVSearch v2.0," constructing a conversational AI data service that allows users to quickly and accurately obtain needed information and extract insights through natural language queries alone. Technically, it will employ a hybrid search combining keyword search and vector search, with rankings fused via the RRF (Reciprocal Rank Fusion) algorithm, along with a Korean morphological analyzer specialized for the research domain and time-series and industry meta-filters to enhance search accuracy. In the first year, the focus will be on applying the service to data from the automotive and telecommunications industries, building an RAG-based conversational AI data service engine to verify search quality and service practicality; in the second year, the plan is to expand application to industries such as finance, travel, tourism, and content, upgrading to a conversational AI data service covering five major industries.

Based on "ProGenAI Studio v2.0," Proten will also simultaneously build five types of AI research agents covering survey design, questionnaire writing, data collection quality control, quantitative analysis, and report automation. These agents can automatically design and execute the complex research process centered on business workflows. In the first year, priority will be given to developing three AI research agents for the front half of the research process: survey design, conversational questionnaire writing, and data collection quality control; in the second year, quantitative analysis and report automation agents will be added, expanding to a complete five-agent system. By automating repetitive tasks requiring specialized knowledge, these AI agents support the entire process from survey planning to analysis and report writing.

Proten will pursue fine-tuning specialized for the research domain, reflecting Consumer Insight's research execution experience, industry-specific survey methodologies, questionnaire writing standards, analysis frameworks, and report writing know-how. The goal is not to use general-purpose generative AI but to develop and optimize AI models and agent performance specifically tailored to the overall research process, including survey design, questionnaire writing, data collection quality control, analysis and interpretation, and report automation. Proten plans to use actual survey outputs and expert review results as learning assets to build a customer-customized AI research operation system reflecting Consumer Insight's unique research methodologies and business standards.

Consumer Insight is a representative South Korean research specialist company, having accumulated over 10 million consumer data points through syndicated research in major industries such as automotive, telecommunications, finance, travel, tourism, and content. Through this project, it plans to upgrade the existing one-way query dashboard service to a natural language-based conversational AI service, improving data usability and business productivity, and accelerating digital transformation, with the goal of reducing the research lead time from the current 2 to 4 weeks to within one day. After project completion, the service will be launched as a SaaS-based "Always-On Intelligence Platform."

Joo Jeong-ho, Director of Proten's AX Business Planning Division, stated that the combination of Consumer Insight's accumulated research data assets with Proten's technological capabilities in "ProVSearch v2.0" and "ProGenAI Studio v2.0" will serve as an opportunity to set new standards for data-driven decision-making. Through conversational AI data services and AI research agents, an environment will be created where both professional researchers and general users can more easily and quickly utilize the insights they need. To strengthen its enterprise AI solution lineup, Proten is continuously pursuing major solution upgrades in line with the latest IT trends, recently launching the AI document parsing solution "ProDocParser v2.0" and the meeting minutes auto-generation AI agent "ProMiNote v2.0."
