US-based BEN Completes Acquisition of German Enterprise Software Provider Cataneo

Cataneo generated revenue of €8.6367 million in 2025 and is projected to achieve €4.187 million in the first half of 2026. Its platform manages over 1,000 media brands and more than 200 broadcast and digital channels, with an annual advertising inventory value exceeding €6 billion.

Headquartered in Munich, Cataneo specializes in enterprise software for advertising operations and infrastructure. Its MYDAS platform provides global broadcasters and media organizations with capabilities including ad sales, scheduling, traffic management, content management, monetization, analytics, CRM integration, and real-time reporting. This acquisition brings BEN a mature enterprise software platform, long-term customer relationships, and critical business workflows, enabling the integration and deployment of BEN's artificial intelligence technology. BEN plans to integrate its proprietary Engagement Language Model (ELM) and enterprise AI technology into the Cataneo platform to enhance advertising operations, audience intelligence, workflow automation, forecasting, and operational decision-making. Cataneo provides a mature commercial platform through which BEN can deploy AI-driven enterprise solutions to existing customers and gradually expand into other industries.

The acquisition was completed on June 30, 2026. As part of the transaction, Cataneo co-founder Christian Unterseer has joined BEN's board of directors, and integration efforts have now commenced.

Tyler Luck, co-founder and CEO of BEN, stated that AI is becoming the interaction layer between brands and consumers, and this acquisition combines BEN's enterprise AI platform with Cataneo's global software business. Renato Rocha Pinto, CEO of Cataneo, noted that joining BEN enables the company to combine operational expertise with enterprise AI.
