en.Wedoany.com Reported - Cybersecurity company Cyberfox Solutions has acquired Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) vendor Timus Networks.

The acquisition aims to serve Cyberfox's Managed Service Provider (MSP) customer base. CEO David Bellini stated that product integration is a key customer requirement, noting that acquiring Timus enables the company to immediately deliver proven, best-in-class products to customers for their secure network access needs. SASE, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), is a natural fit in its portfolio, and the platform built by Timus is exactly what Cyberfox had planned to develop in-house.
Founded in 2021, Timus Networks is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The vendor embodies SASE deployment through zero-trust services, "always-on" VPN, and actionable insights for auditing. Its uniqueness lies in its focus on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), offering flexible per-user pricing and delivering a multi-tenant partner portal through a single dashboard.
In the short term, the Timus brand will continue to operate within the Cyberfox portfolio while being integrated into Cyberfox's partner program and product roadmap over the coming quarters. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Also headquartered in Tampa, Cyberfox is a global cybersecurity solutions provider specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM), password management, and Domain Name Service (DNS) filtering. Founded in 2022, the company was formed through the merger of password management vendor Password Boss and Identity Access Management (IAM) company AutoElevate, both acquired by an investor group led by CEO Bellini.
Similar transactions have occurred previously in the SASE space. Optical transport vendor Ekinops acquired cybersecurity company Chimere in March to obtain its ZTNA technology. Meanwhile, Deloitte has expanded its global cybersecurity operations framework and consulting services using Netskope's SASE and SSE capabilities.
Research firm Gartner predicts that as enterprises upgrade security and network capabilities to meet modern cloud and artificial intelligence adoption needs, the SASE market is expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26%.
