The acquisition integrates Renesas' clock product portfolio into SiTime's existing MEMS-based timing technology, expanding the company's clock product portfolio by approximately tenfold and bringing in over 10,000 customers. Approximately 75% of the acquired business serves AI data centers and communications applications, with the remainder coming from industrial and automotive markets. The business has historically achieved gross margins of around 70% and is expected to contribute at least $300 million in revenue within the first 12 months post-acquisition.
