en.Wedoany.com Reported - UOB Plaza, the new headquarters building of United Overseas Bank (UOB) Vietnam located at 2 Ton Duc Thang Street, Ho Chi Minh City, officially broke ground on July 1. The project covers an area of 4,571 square meters, with 36 floors and a total investment of approximately $450 million. It is a Grade A office building designed according to international sustainable development standards and is expected to be completed by 2030.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Cong Vinh stated that the construction of UOB Plaza marks a new step in the bank's development in Vietnam and reflects international investors' confidence in the local investment environment and development prospects. Nguyen Cong Vinh noted that UOB and Vietnam have played an active role in priority investment areas such as infrastructure, high technology, green transformation, and innovation. Ho Chi Minh City is advancing the construction of an international financial center, aiming to more efficiently connect regional and global capital to key sectors including infrastructure, logistics, high-tech manufacturing, green transformation, innovation, digital finance, shipping finance, aviation finance, and emerging economic industries.
