en.Wedoany.com Reported - J&T Express announced the expansion of its J&T International express service from the original 7 countries to over 60 destination countries worldwide.

This network expansion was officially announced on June 30, 2026, in response to the sustained growth in cross-border transportation demand, while supporting Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in more actively exploring overseas export markets.

The expanded service network covers multiple countries and regions in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, the United States, and Europe. Individual customers and commercial users can access a wider range of international shipping services through J&T Express's operational network in Indonesia.

Erick, Marketing Director of J&T Express, stated that strengthening international services is part of the company's strategy to leverage its existing global network. Currently, J&T Express operates in 13 countries across three continents, providing a more solid logistics foundation for cross-border shipments originating from Indonesia. Erick noted that the expansion of destination countries is expected to help customers, including MSMEs, reach global markets through more competitive logistics services. An official statement from the company indicated that with its increasingly robust operational network across 13 countries on three continents, this expansion enables it to offer broader and more competitive shipping routes, thereby supporting Indonesian enterprises in seizing global market opportunities more easily.

This service expansion is also driven by growing demand for international business. J&T Express records show that cross-border shipment volume in 2025 more than doubled compared to the previous year, alongside increasing customer requests to expand services to more destination countries. Additionally, international trade is showing positive growth trends. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Trade cited by the company, the share of MSME export activities increased from 16.9% in 2024 to 19% in 2025. This further drives demand for logistics services that connect domestic businesses with overseas buyers.

In addition to expanding coverage, J&T Express also offers competitive pricing plans. Shipping costs start from IDR 50,000 per kilogram to Malaysia, from IDR 60,000 per kilogram to Singapore, from IDR 370,000 per kilogram to the Netherlands, and from IDR 580,000 per kilogram to the United States. The company explained that import duties and customs clearance fees charged to customers will follow the actual bills from the destination country's authorities, aiming to make shipping costs more transparent and avoid additional unfixed charges.

The J&T International service operates on a door-to-door system, with parcels delivered directly to the recipient's address. Customers can access this service through the J&T Drop Point, J&T Collection Point, and J&T Signature Point network across Indonesia. During international shipping, customers also receive assistance with document verification, administrative procedure checks, and inspection of shipping requirements according to destination country regulations.

The expanded service covers Southeast Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, and Cambodia; East Asian regions including China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea; South Asian countries including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka; as well as the Middle East and West Asia including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Turkey, Lebanon, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, and Jordan. In Europe, the service covers over 20 countries including the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Greece, Poland, Romania, Luxembourg, and Monaco. Additionally, the service has expanded to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and multiple African countries such as Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria.

This expansion reflects J&T Express's focus on strengthening international network-based logistics services against the backdrop of increasingly active digital trade and export activities in Indonesia. With its growing coverage and support for international shipping administrative services, the company aims to become the logistics partner of choice for individual customers and commercial users requiring global distribution channels.
