The company, derived from Vynova Alkoxides, which was established in early 2024, was officially founded in mid-2026 and is a subsidiary of the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG). In preparation for market entry, the company established its own sales organization in 2026, providing early planning security for European customers ahead of production launch. With production set to begin at the end of 2027, Envirocat Alkoxides will become a reliable local alkoxide supply partner for European customers. The sales organization Envirocat International accompanies customers from initial contact through to production start, ensuring a smooth transition before production commences.

Since mid-2023, the Lülsdorf site, located between Bonn and Cologne, has been under ICIG ownership. An investment in a new alkoxide production facility was announced at that time and is now being realized. In spring 2025, the basic design contract was awarded to an engineering company. Currently, the site is engaged in contract production of alkoxides for former owner Evonik and produces potassium derivatives for the Vynova Group, which is part of ICIG.
