The project's annual power generation is expected to meet the electricity needs of approximately 40,000 households. INTEC will be responsible for the complete EPC scope of the project, working in collaboration with COMPLANT. The project scope also includes high-voltage engineering and operations and maintenance management after completion. Construction is scheduled to commence, with completion expected in the second half of 2028. The project design incorporates flexibility to integrate future energy storage and peaking capacity, thereby contributing to the diversification of New Zealand's renewable energy portfolio.
