en.Wedoany.com Reported - INTEC, in partnership with COMPLANT, will build the Glorit solar farm for Lightsource bp and Contact Energy on the Kaipara Coast in New Zealand. The project has been approved, with an installed capacity of approximately 171 MWp.

The project's annual power generation is expected to meet the electricity needs of approximately 40,000 households. INTEC will be responsible for the complete EPC scope of the project, working in collaboration with COMPLANT. The project scope also includes high-voltage engineering and operations and maintenance management after completion. Construction is scheduled to commence, with completion expected in the second half of 2028. The project design incorporates flexibility to integrate future energy storage and peaking capacity, thereby contributing to the diversification of New Zealand's renewable energy portfolio. During construction, the project will create jobs and support local businesses through supply chain partnerships, adding additional renewable electricity to the New Zealand grid.
