Xiayuan Thermal Power Branch and China Water Resources and Electric Power Materials Group Co., Ltd.

Xiayuan Thermal Power Branch; Li Wenbin, Deputy General Manager of the Electrical and Thermal Power Division of China Water Resources and Electric Power Materials Group Co., Ltd.; and Yu Qiang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Harbin Haguo Energy Power Technology Co., Ltd., along with other relevant leaders, attended the signing ceremony.
It is understood that the Xiayuan project is located in Xiayuan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is an expansion built on the original site of the old plant, planning to construct 2×660MW ultra-supercritical units, with supporting environmental protection facilities. The project adopts a construction model of "equal replacement plus new capacity," phasing out 210 MW of old units and adding 370 MW of nationally approved new capacity. Upon completion, the total installed capacity will reach 1,320 MW, making it a core heat supply source around Beijing and a crucial link for peak shaving in coordination with wind and solar resources in the Zhangjiakou area, thereby undertaking the energy support task for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
This project is an important practice for Harbin Boiler to deeply integrate into the construction of a new power system and promote the clean and efficient utilization of coal power. Harbin Boiler will fully leverage its technological advantages in the field of large-capacity, high-parameter coal-fired power units, focusing on customer needs to carry out project execution with high quality, high standards, and high efficiency.
