en.Wedoany.com Reported - Xiaomi has launched its self-developed "Xiaomi Titan Alloy 2.0," which utilizes 100% recycled aluminum technology. This material has been mass-produced and applied to the integrated die-cast rear floor of automobiles, making it the first recycled aluminum alloy material among domestic brands to achieve this application. The carbon emission value of this material is 1.1 kgCO₂e/kg, approximately 93% lower than traditional primary aluminum. This data has been independently verified by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and registered and published through the international EPD system. Following an authoritative technical appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the material has been recognized as reaching an internationally advanced level.

Following a technical appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the material has been recognized as reaching an internationally advanced level. The appraisal committee consisted of academicians in the field of materials science and industry experts.
By adopting this material, each vehicle can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 800 kilograms of carbon dioxide, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of about 40 trees. Based on an annual production estimate of 550,000 vehicles, this translates to an annual emission reduction of approximately 450,000 tons of carbon dioxide, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of about 20 million trees.

Xiaomi stated that Titan Alloy 2.0 has undergone rigorous validation across multiple vehicle models and components, covering key load-bearing structural parts such as the rear floor. It meets automotive structural part standards in dimensions including mechanical properties, crush performance, and X-ray internal quality, and has been mass-produced and applied to the new SU7 and YU7 models. The production process for the integrated die-cast rear floor using this material includes: five-stage pretreatment of recycled aluminum, smelting and composition adjustment, fine treatment of the melt, 100% recycled aluminum alloy ingots, die casting, and integrated die-cast rear floor.
