Under the agreement, Ceigall will develop the plant and supply power to the joint venture between the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVN). Located in the Morena Solar Park, the project combines photovoltaic generation with battery storage technology to support grid stability and ensure consistent solar output. Valued at approximately INR 17 billion, the project is expected to be completed within about 18 months, with a 25-year operational period.

This PPA will enable Ceigall to expand its utility-scale renewable energy portfolio by adding a solar-plus-storage project to its existing generation assets. In April this year, the company signed 15 PPAs totaling 130 MW with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited.
