en.Wedoany.com Reported - MAN Truck & Bus has delivered five fully electric MAN eTGX trucks to JS Logistics for cross-border transport operations. These vehicles will serve both direct routes and hub-and-spoke distribution models, covering two typical routes: from Lebeny, Hungary to Germany's Munich (approximately 520 kilometers one way), and from the Gyor logistics center in Hungary to the Munich plant.

On the Lebeny-to-Munich route, MAN stated that the vehicles operate in a counter-flow transport mode: two trucks drive towards each other and exchange trailers en route. This transport uses a Full Truckload method, where each vehicle delivers the customer's entire shipment directly to the destination without intermediate stops. The other vehicle is responsible for transporting consolidated goods from the Gyor logistics center to MAN plants, particularly the Munich facility.

The handover ceremony took place at the MAN Truck Forum in Munich, where Friedrich Baumann, Member of the Board for Sales and Customer Solutions at MAN Truck & Bus, handed over the vehicles to Jerome Schussler, owner and Managing Director of JS Logistics. These vehicles will be officially deployed in daily logistics operations. Jerome Schussler stated: "Integrating the fully electric MAN eTGX into our transport processes is a milestone for the company. Together with MAN, we are creating sustainable logistics solutions and gaining important experience in cross-border electric mobility applications."
