Following a year-long procurement process, the company was formally appointed as the main contractor by the Government of Jersey. The hospital project is valued at £710 million, with a floor area of 47,500 square meters, and will include an emergency department, six operating theaters, inpatient wards, intensive care facilities, and a women's and children's center. This marks Bouygues' first monthly top ranking since May 2025.
Skanska ranked second with two projects totaling £306 million. The largest contract is for the redevelopment of an office at 55 Old Broad Street in the City of London for private equity real estate firm AshbyCapital, valued at £282 million. Construction is scheduled to start in October and complete by the end of 2029. The 23-story scheme, located near Liverpool Street Station, will provide 25,000 square meters of office space, 1,400 square meters of retail and dining facilities, and new public areas.
Sisk secured third place with a single residential project valued at £280 million. The contract, awarded by Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC), involves delivering the Electric Boulevard pedestrian retail street, connecting the Grade II* listed power station with the underground station. The project includes 306 homes and 6,040 square meters of shop, café, and restaurant space, with construction expected to start in summer 2026. Sisk's total contract value in June was over £80 million higher than fourth-placed Kier.
Kier ranked fourth with 16 contracts totaling £210.6 million, the highest number of projects among the top ten. Winvic placed fifth with two contracts totaling £131.5 million, the main project being a £130 million build-to-rent development on the site of the former International Swimming Pool in Leeds for Lisbon Street Developments, comprising 578 homes in 33-story and 22-story towers, a podium, and a shared basement, with construction planned to start in the fourth quarter of this year. Costain ranked sixth with a single project valued at £122 million, the West Winch Access Road project for Norfolk County Council. Balfour Beatty ranked seventh with a single contract valued at £121 million from National Grid to expand a 400kV substation at Bramford substation in Suffolk, a four-year project as part of the Bramford to Twinstead initiative. Willmott Dixon ranked eighth with seven contracts totaling £104.4 million. Morgan Sindall ranked ninth with 15 contracts totaling £102.9 million. HG Construction rounded out the top ten with a single project valued at £94.5 million.
In the rolling annual contractor rankings from July 2025 to June 2026, Strabag continued to lead with five projects totaling £2.93 billion. Morgan Sindall ranked second with 228 contracts totaling £2.31 billion, the highest number of contracts among the top ten. Mace ranked third with six projects totaling £1.51 billion. Bowmer & Kirkland ranked fourth with 31 contracts totaling £1.49 billion.
